Parenting is one of the hardest jobs in life, yet so often we are told it should come “naturally”. We believe parenting can also be the most rewarding and exciting job in life. There are tools, skills and insights to learn and explore! Whether you are looking to brush up some of your own skills or feel like you are at the end of your rope with your kids, we will provide a safe and encouraging environment to learn. We hope you can join us next week at one of our classes that are just beginning! Parenting Network has been helping families for over 20 years!  There are classes throughout the GTA.

Are you a mom with rich stories to tell?  Always say you’ll remember this moment forever but know you won’t - unless you write it down?  (And let’s face it:  Who has time for that?)  Recording your experiences is actually easier than you may think.  It’s also fun, rewarding, and a little bit painful.  Just like motherhood itself.

Part writing group, part literary salon, The Momoir Project offers writing courses for mothers interested in learning how to translate their personal experience with motherhood into words.  Whether you want to write as a keepsake for yourself or your children, or whether you would like to publish your story in a newspaper, magazine or book, this course is intended to inspire you and get you writing.

Cori Howard, editor of Between Interruptions: Thirty Women Tell the Truth About Motherhood is the mom behind these classes.  They are starting their classes in Toronto in January, and if you can’t make it to the class, you can join the online class via Skype.
